PPO

A PPO plan is made up of physicians and hospitals that participate with the BC/BS network. The providers agree to work with BC/BS to give you maximum benefit coverage at a lower cost.

The PPO Plan provides you with more flexibility than the HMO Plan. You may choose between network or out-of-network providers when receiving medical services. The PPO Plan has a large directory of network doctor and hospital providers. You are not required to see (1) primary care physician, like in the HMO, for all your medical services.
