CTA Chicago Card Plus

Chicago Card Plus is a fare card with its balance kept in an online account.  Fare transactions are recorded to the account each time the Card is touched to the touchpad on all CTA fare machines. If you happen to lose your card you do not lose your money when you lose your card because your money is still sitting in your online account. Make sure to call CTA so they can send you another card.

Two Fare Options

• Pay-Per-Use - Choose from the following amounts: $30, $35, $40, $50, $60, $65.
  CTA will give you a $2 bonus for every $20 of value you add to your account.
  With Pay-Per-Use you pay the lower fare of $1.75 per ride instead of $2.00
• Monthly Pass - $75 is the only option for unlimited rides

All payroll deductions are Pre-tax, the amount elected will be deducted from the 1st payroll check of the month and will be available for use on the 1st day of the following month.
