District Office Building Evacuation Plan
Cooperation and awareness of students, faculty and staff is necessary to maintain a truly safe environment and we ask for your cooperation in the event of an evacuation of the District Office building.
In the event of an emergency, fire alarms will be activated. Please vacate the building as quickly and safely as possible using the stairs located on the South, Center and North wings of the building. You are required to follow the instructions of the Fire Department, Police Department, Security, Engineering and Fire Marshals on your floor.
Know Your Exits
Familiarize yourself with your department floor plan. Locate all three 3 stairwells. Take note of where the fire pull-box alarms, fire extinguishers, and fire hoses are located.
Each floor has 3 volunteer fire marshals to assist you during emergencies. Ask your supervisor for a list of the fire marshals on your floor.
