City Colleges of Chicago's Budget Receives the Support of the Civic Federation

Chicago, IL (July 10, 2006) – The City Colleges of Chicago’s (CCC) budget for FY 2007 received the support of the Civic Federation of Chicago. It commended the leadership of City Colleges for taking seriously its responsibility to improve long-term financial management of Illinois’ largest community college district and for making impressive strides in implementing business reforms that will enable CCC to better manage its resources.

The Civic Federation stated in its letter of support that is was particularly pleased with City Colleges’ Capital Plan which maps out a comprehensive, multi-year capital planning process in which CCC projects are prioritized and funding needs and sources are identified.
