Mission - DTI is dedicated to providing students with intensive and comprehensive industry validated training in the construction trade and utility industries.  DTI is committed to preparing students to compete in these industries by offering relevant competency-based instruction that leads to unionized apprenticeship​​ and other relevant trade and utility worker opportunities.

Scholarship and Training Options               

City Colleges of Chicago is offering a special scholarship opportunity to qualified students for the following programs:
  • Overhead Electrical Line Worker
  • Construction Carpentry
  • Concrete Masonry
  • Plumbing and Fire Protection
Training for these careers can be completed in 16 to 22 weeks. In addition to scholarship opportunities, tuition-free workforce readiness training will be provided. Space is limited.
