Department Chair

Kennedy-King College Mathematics Department is committed to providing a wide range mathematics classes, which meet the educational and career needs of our students. We offer remedial courses to prepare students to begin college-level work. We offer courses for students who are pursuing an Associate Degree or a Certificate at Kennedy-King College as well as students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution. Our courses help prepare students to study and work in fields such as engineering and sciences, technology, business, and the education. We design and implement practices which contribute to the effective teaching of our client population.

Because all students take our classes, mathematics occupies a core intellectual position at the college. As such, we enjoy a special responsibility. No matter what reason students have for taking a courses in our major, we are here to help them accomplish their goals. The information in these pages provides about the people, services and activities which make our department an exceptional place to study, teach, and learn. We hope you will take some to peruse our website for a fuller view of the department's vision and dedication to student learning.
