​Advising Week Ends Friday, November 16 - Don't Miss Out!

• Work one-on-one with an advisor to register for Spring 2013 classes
• Review your Education Plan to stay on track for graduation
• Speak with Career Placement Specialists and Transfer Directors
• Get scholarship and financial aid information

To prepare for Advising Week, review Spring 2013 schedules and make sure your Education Plan is in place.

Tips for Registration

Advising Week Schedule

• On the Spot Enrollment: KKC College Advisors will have advising tables and self-service kiosks set up in each of the academic & Administration buildings throughout the week to allow on the spot registration:

• Nov 12th – 10-6 pm –  W  Building, 1st Floor Corridor (main atrium)
• Nov 13th –  10-6 pm – W  Building, 1st Floor Corridor (main atrium)
• Nov 13th  - 10-6 pm -   Dawson Tech – Cafeteria – Focus on Construction Trade Programs
• Nov 14th – 10-6  pm – W  Building, 1st Floor Corridor (main atrium)
• Nov 15th  - 10-6 pm -   U  Building, 1st Floor Corridor (main atrium)
• Nov 16th   - 10-1PM  -  V Building,  1st Floor Corridor (main atrium)

After registering, students can take a picture and receive right away

• Nov 12th:  Veteran Reception - (4-6pm)  W-110

• The Division of Student Services will sponsor a reception/open house for our Student Veterans to introduce the Full-Time Veteran Coordinator and to showcase the new Veteran Center*** During the open house, the Veteran’s will also have the opportunity to register online with assistance from College Advisement
  

• Nov 12th: Flag draping ceremony in the W-Building (12:00pm – main quad of building)

• Flag will be at half-staff ( choir singing)
  

• Nov 12th : Veteran Appreciation Day (All Day) 

• Appreciation: Students will sign banner with positive messages and banner will be hung in the new Veteran Center – Red, White, and Blue ribbons will be distributed to students
