Request Transfer Credit

Transfer credits may be used to help you to meet the course requirements of a degree or certificate program at the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC).

Transfer Credit General Guidelines

  • Course credits from regionally accredited institutions
  • Final grade of C or higher
  • Equivalent to courses in our current Academic Catalog
  • Apply toward a CCC certificate or degree

Current students and former students with an established CCC course history may request an transcript evaluation. Transferred course grades are not reflected in your CCC grade point average (GPA). However, your transferred credit hours will be listed in your student history under transfer credit. NOTE: transcript evaluations can only be completed based upon official transcripts.

We encourage you to meet with your Academic Advisor to find out how your transfer credits can be used toward completing your academic program at CCC.
