The Health Professions Pathways (H2P) Grant, provided from the Department of Labor, will enable City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) to expand entry pathways into healthcare by delivering robust curriculum, stackable credentials, workforce readiness determined by local industry, multiple entry and exit points, and online learning opportunities. The goal is to positively impact low skilled workers, TAA-eligible persons, displaced workers, and veterans. H2P personnel and City Colleges of Chicago will achieve the goals using specific strategies and resources outlined by the H2P National Consortium. These efforts will help CCC support and galvanize a national movement to improve health professions training.
As a partner in the H2P Consortium, we are committed to responding to the educational needs of the healthcare community by seeking to increase the attainment of degrees, certificates, and other industry-recognized credentials as well as better prepare the targeted population for high-wage, high skill employment in health professions.
