About the Print Shop
The Reprographics department manages print material requests. Requestors must ensure that a department budget source code is reported on the Print Request Form and external requestors must ensure that arrangements have been outlined as part of their Scope of Services for their contract.
About Satellite Copiers
Should a user find that a Xerox satellite copier is out of ink, the empty toner cartridge should be provided to Central Stores (Mail Room located across from the Print Shop) and it will be replaced at no charge.
If the machine is not operational, the user who discovers the issue should email the department (firstname.lastname@example.org). A service call will be placed and the response time for repairs varies between 24 – 48 hours.
Copying and Printing Services
Twenty-three (23) satellite Xerox photocopiers are located throughout campus for faculty and staff use. A chargeback system is implemented through the issuance of customer codes. Digital copiers with sorting, collating and stapling finishing functions are located on the second and third floors. Large B/W or Color copying should be handled by the Print Shop.
The print shop has a limited supply of specialty paper for distribution; standard copy paper is supplied; all paper products are part of a cost evaluation.
