Welcome to the City Colleges of Chicago website. The City Colleges of Chicago is an urban community college system that is one of the largest in the nation. We are committed to providing pathways for lifelong learning.
At CCC, students' success is nurtured by dedicated faculty members and professional staff who provide a high level of instruction and educational services in four areas of study: Liberal Arts; Workforce Development; Adult Education, which includes English as a Second language, GED high school equivalency test preparation and basic literacy; and Continuing Education programs which add value to the quality of life.
CCC educational programs are offered at affordable prices. Additionally, there are opportunities for scholarships and other financial assistance. As an open-door institution, we welcome one and all to visit, enroll, learn and experience rewarding educational opportunities.
The City Colleges of Chicago, community college district 508, was established in 1911, and was known as "The People's College." The district includes seven independently accredited colleges located conveniently throughout the city. All are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and regulated by the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the Illinois Community College Board.
Success starts here at the City Colleges of Chicago.
