The mission of the Development Office is to secure funding required for the City Colleges of Chicago to accomplish its highest priority goals and objectives; and to build a platform for future success that engages and embraces the diverse and complex population of the City Colleges of Chicago alumni and friends. The Office is committed to the progress, continuity, and advancement of the institution by building sustainable growth through cultivating relationships and fundraising that leads to student and institutional success.
The Office of Development consists of three divisions:
1. The City Colleges of Chicago Foundation is responsible for coordinating fundraising to provide scholarship opportunities and special programs through the CCC Foundation (a separate, not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization), private donor management, planned giving and major gift programs;
2. Grants and Contracts coordinates and supports all grant writing and resource development initiatives throughout the District.
3. Alumni Relations is responsible for building and enhancing the CCC Alumni Association.
