The Staffing Department works collaboratively with the seven colleges, satellite locations, and district departments to process all personnel transactions in accordance with Board policy, collective bargaining agreements, and state and federal law. Personnel transactions include, but are not limited to hires, terminations/retirements, promotions, transfers, pay rate changes, position updates, etc. The Department is responsible for recordkeeping of all personnel records and information relative to job-related and personal information. The Department provides research in support of collective bargaining negotiations and agreements. Also, the Staffing Department is responsible for managing and coordinating the disposition of Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) claims in conjunction with the college Human Resource Administrators, as well as District Office human resource management and the State of Illinois.
