Domestic Partner Coverage

The Board of Trustees of City Colleges, along with our sister agencies such as City of Chicago and the Park District, have created and approved a policy to provide health, tuition wavier and bereavement leave benefits to qualified domestic partners of City College employees. 
Eligible Benefits

Domestic partners are eligible for the same benefits available to legal spouses of City Colleges employees in the same job family, including:

  • Medical
  • Dental
  • Vision
  • Bereavement Leave
  • Tuition Wavier

Employees wishing to add a Domestic Partner during Open Enrollment or because of a qualifying life event, must complete the Domestic Partner Application Packet​​ and return it to the Benefits Department.
