Our completion percentage rates are related to the demand for preschool teachers in Chicago and the need for employment of many of our candidates. Many of our student need to work to help support their families, which impacts their educational timeline. The Malcolm X College AAS – Child Development degree includes two stackable credential certificates. Students often complete a certificate, stop-out for employment, and may return to finish the second credential and their A.A.S. degree as life permits.
