Congratulations! The end of your CCC studies is near and your diploma is almost in hand. City Colleges of Chicago will hold its 2016 commencement ceremony for associate degree completers of all seven City Colleges on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
We hope you will participate in the joyous and proud 2016 commencement ceremony and that you will have family and friends join you for this momentous occasion as your name is read and you are recognized on stage.

Cap, Gown, and Tassel
In order to participate in the commencement ceremony, you must wear a black cap, gown, and tassel of your college's color. You must purchase your cap, gown, and tassel online through the links below no later than April 7, 2016 to allow time for delivery. Students who do not order a cap and gown by April 7th, or do not have one of their own, will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. Your cap, gown, and tassel will be delivered to the mailing address listed on your order approximately three weeks after the order is placed. To ensure that each graduate is accounted for, please do not place an order for another graduate. Each graduate should place their own order for their cap and gown regardless of payment method. Please note: Your cap, gown, and tassel purchase is non-refundable.
Estimated cost of cap, gown, and tassel: $30.20 (including shipping and tax).
If you plan to participate in the ceremony and have your own black cap and gown, please confirm your participation with your College Registrar by April 7, 2016.
You may also purchase a tassel for $2.20 if you already own your cap and gown. Individual tassels can also be purchased from the links below no later than April 7, 2016.

Honors Cords, Veteran Cords, Psi Beta Cords and Phi Theta Kappa Stoles:
These items are free of charge and reserved for students who meet various eligibility requirements. Cords and stoles will be available for pick-up during commencement orientation, starting the week of Monday, April 18th. Please check with your Registrar’s Office for specific days, times and location.
Graduation announcements will be provided to each student during commencement orientation, starting the week of GradFest, Monday, April 18th. Please check with your Registrar’s Office for specific days, times and location. Please note: Announcements are not tickets and will not grant admission to the commencement.
All commencement tickets will be distributed during commencement orientation, starting the week of GradFest, Monday, April 18th. Please check with your Registrar’s Office for specific days, times and location. Please note: You will be required to present a photo ID in order to receive your commencement tickets and graduation packet.
Tickets are not for sale nor should they be brought or sold. The City Colleges of Chicago does not support or condone the selling of Commencement tickets. Please disregard any advertisement or person who is selling or claims to be selling Commencement tickets. Every Commencement ticket is printed as “Not for Sale”.
