What types of courses
does CDL offer?
Teleweb Courses (TW)
TW (Teleweb) courses combine video
with content delivered over the Internet. TW courses are offered in a 8 week
session for summer and 16 weeks for Spring and Fall. The video component is
broadcast on WYCC-TV/Channel 20 of Chicago. Students complete all required
coursework at the http://ccc.blackboard.com website. Students may need to visit
one of the City Colleges of Chicago campusesto take course exams.
Web-Based Courses (WW)
WW courses are offered

What if I miss a
televised lesson from my TW course?
Telecourses may be viewed at the Harold Washington College Library, free of charge during normal library hours. Students must present a valid CCC ID to gain access to the library.
What other support
services are available to me?
As a CDL student you entitled to all of the support services
available to students throughout the City Colleges of Chicago system -
including access to the campus computer labs.
What if I receive an
"ADW", as a mid-term grade?
Students who do not fully participate in their CDL course through
constant communication with their instructor, submission of homework, quizzes, and/or
exams, and/or through the course web site, phone, e-mail or in-person contact
at conferences, risk receiving an administrative withdrawal (ADW), on their
mid-term grade report. A full explanation of the ADW can found in the StudentPolicy Manual.
I registered for my class, however I do not see them in

How to Schedule a Proctored Exam?
CDL proctored exams are scheduled using the http://ccc.timtrade.com system.
I am traveling and will not be in town to take my
proctored exams, what are my options.
You can identify a university/college, library or reputable
site that administers proctored exams. Work with CDL student support services
to verify site and send exam information.
