What is an articulation agreement?

An articulation agreement is a formal agreement that allows credits earned in specific programs at the City Colleges to be accepted at another college or university. The City Colleges have articulation agreements with 52 four-year colleges encompassing more than 209 programs.

What is a dual admissions agreement?

A dual admissions agreement allows a student to enroll in one of the City Colleges and a four-year college at the same time. Fourteen Dual Admissions Agreements are available to students.

Dual Admissions Benefits:

  • access to the four-year school's student services
  • access to the four-year school's library
  • counseling from a four-year school's advisor

Why should students be interested in articulation and/or dual admissions agreements?

If the requirements of these agreements are followed, students will receive a two-year degree from one of the City Colleges and then be accepted with junior status at a four-year college in their chosen major.

What requirements are specified in articulation agreements?

Requirements vary depending on the agreement.

More information about these programs contact an advisor.
