How to Apply to the City Colleges

The City Colleges of Chicago does not require students to take an admittance test. However, students are required to take a placement test to help determine English, reading, and mathematics skills. This requirement may be waived if the student:
- has a Bachelor's degree
- has successfully completed a college level English or mathematics course with a grade of C or better

Schedule Your Placement Tests
New students should meet with an advisor to determine which placement tests you should take. Transfer students should forward official transcripts to the Registrar's Office before registration.
