Articulation
Below is a listing of articulation areas between the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC). Each area represents a Career and Technical Education (CTE) area under a career cluster that may benefit from an articulation agreement.
Benefit to CCC: An articulated set of courses means that CPS students would have an incentive to transfer to CCC and finish their CTE programs. Through prior learning, students may be able to skip introductory classes, and move into more advanced courses, thus completing their degrees faster. The benefit to CCC is a potential increase in CTE programs.
There are instructions to follow for each articulation area.
In each area, there is a set of syllabi, artifacts like task likes (outcomes), and a review form. The completed review form will generate an articulation agreement.
