Through Early College initiatives, high school students can get a jump start on their college education, saving time and money.

Early College

CCC is proud to offer options for students who are ready to start their college education while they are still enrolled in high school. There are three main ways for students to earn early college credit.

Dual Credit

High school students may be able to take college classes at their own school during fall or spring semesters only. In these classes, students will receive college and high school credit at the same time. In order to participate, students must meet the pre-requisites for the course.

Dual Enrollment

High school students may enroll in college courses at any one of the CCC campuses. Each term (spring, summer, fall) 100 seats are set aside for high school students to take one college level course. In order to participate students must meet the pre-requisites for the course.
