A medical calculator application with more than 150 essential tools which give you results in seconds. Downloadable for mobile devises and PCs. This is one of the applications available from Skyscape.

ChemIDplus
A free database from the National Library of Medicine of 400,000 chemical compounds. Records consist of name, synonyms, CAS number, molecular formula, and direct links to biomedical resources.  User may enter compound identifiers such as chemical name, CAS registry number, classification code, locator code, and structure or substructure. Searchable features include search and display by toxicity, lethal dose (LD50), by physical/chemical properties, and by molecular weight.

Diagnosaurus
This is a tool to help students and health care professionals with the diagnosis of more than 1000 diseases and conditions.  It is free to download to a Windows PC and costs $1.99 for mobile versions.

Tools for doctors and other clinicians.  All require an iPhone or iPod.

Skyscape is the name of the company and the name for smart phone and tablet applications.  Omnio is used for their iPad products. The tools are free downloads, but require registration.

Web site for the interactive study of anatomy. Free access includes more than 250 illustrations and 170 test questions.  Paid access includes 600 or 1800 illustrations.
