Journal of Aesthetics & Culture is a peer-reviewed open source
journal dedicated to promoting an interdisciplinary examination on the
philosophy of art. Though the journal covers a wide variety of topics,
its focus on cinema studies and media & communication studies is

In Media Res

Unlike
most academic journals, In Media Res incorporates a multi-modal form of
online scholarship. Each entry in this database includes a segment of
film, to which a film scholar responds with a brief "impressionistic"
