Program Effectiveness Data

The following is the most current program effectiveness data. Our programmatic accreditation agency, the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), defines and publishes this information . The information can be found directly on the JRCERT webpage.

Credentialing Examination: The number of students who pass, on the first attempt, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination, or an unrestricted state licensing examination, compared with the number of graduates who take the examination within six months of graduation. The five-year average benchmark established by the JRCERT is 75%.

The number of students enrolled in the program for the first time in the prior Spring or Fall semester with the potential to complete in the fiscal year.
Completion:
The percent of the total students in the enrollment cohortsᵻ that completed the degree within the 150% timeframe (six semesters) of the program.
Exam Pass Rate:
The percent of graduatesᶤ who passed the certification exam (ARRT) out of those graduatesᶤ who took the exam on the first attempt.
Job Placement Rate:
Defined as the number of graduatesᶤ employed in the radiologic sciences compared to the number of graduates actively seeking employment in the radiological sciences. (JCERT Standard 5.2). The percent of graduatesᶤ that are employed as a radiographer within the first twelve months after program completion. Some students went back to school, did not enter the job market and or could not be reached by the program director through surveys, emails, phone calls, or social media.

ᵻ Enrollment Cohort:
Students that enrolled in the program for the first time in the prior Spring or Fall semester of the specified fiscal year are designated as an enrollment cohort for that semester in the fiscal year. There is one enrollment cohort for this program per fiscal year.
ᶤ Graduates:
Students that completed the program in the same fiscal year.

Notes/Sources

*Job placement rate data source:
The Program Director collects Job placement data at the time of completion (0 months) up until 12 months from completion. The Program Director follows the job placement methodology as prescribed by JRCERT.

Survey Questions:
**Please rate the overall quality of your preparation as a radiographer. (1 lowest – 5 highest)
***Have the graduates met the overall expectation of an entry-level radiographer? (1 lowest – 4 highest)

N/A:
Not yet available for the fiscal year.
