Pipeline to STEM workforce is an academic pipeline program at Olive-Harvey College that recruits, promotes, prepares, and strengthens African-American pre-college and college students. Due to the severe lack of representation of African-Americans in the STEM workforce, the program’s ultimate goal is to enrich the greater south side of Chicago and solidify these students’ ability to matriculate into higher levels of education, and ultimately preparedness for the 21st century workforce.
