The City Colleges of Chicago is one of the largest and most comprehensive community colleges in the United States and has been an integral part of Chicago since 1911. Comprised of seven main campuses located all throughout the city, the City Colleges of Chicago offers a diverse number of campus options set against the backdrop of the culturally rich city of Chicago. Approximately 34,000 students attend classes in more than 200 different programs of study.

The City Colleges accepts three types of International students: prospective students applying from their home country, students transferring from other schools (other colleges or language schools) and students who require a change of visa status in order to study at the College.
