Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the City Colleges of Chicago District No. 508. The City Colleges of Chicago currently operates seven accredited colleges located throughout Chicago.

Regular Board Meetings

A regular meeting of the Board is scheduled on the first Thursday of each month at a time and location designated by the Chairman of the Board. All meetings of the Board are held in accordance with provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act and other applicable laws concerning the conduct of meetings.

In accordance with the Rules for the Management and Government of the City Colleges, the Board has four standing Committees which meet monthly, during Regular Board Meetings.

All individuals that would like to address the Board during the public comment portion of a board meeting should e-mail requesttospeak@ccc.edu. Your subject matter must be included in your request. You may also fax your request to 312.553.2529, Attention: Board Office.

Board of Trustees Membership

The City Colleges of Chicago Board is comprised of seven voting members serving three-year terms as appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council of Chicago.
