ISLO Plan
Introduction
The Richard J. Daley College 2022–2027 Program Assessment Plan implements a seven-step institutional assessment cycle to evaluate and improve student learning outcomes. This plan aligns with Institutional Student Learning Outcomes (ISLOs) and incorporates stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement.
7-Step Institutional Assessment Cycle
- Step 1: Research and Design – Determine data needs, assessment instruments, and analysis methods.
- Step 2: Pilot Assessment Instrument – Conduct pilot tests for reliability and validity.
- Step 3: Administer Assessment Instrument – Select courses and administer assessments.
- Step 4: Data Analysis – Analyze data to assess student learning outcomes.
- Step 5: Results and Recommendations – Share results with stakeholders and propose changes.
- Step 6: Modifications – Implement feasible recommendations and address limitations.
- Step 7: Improvement Plan – Develop strategies for enhancing learning outcomes in future cycles.
Institutional Student Learning Outcomes (ISLOs)
