Daley Transition Team

The Daley College Transition team supports upper-level Adult Education, Career Bridge, and Gateway students to help them fulfill academic and career goals.     

    
Who should meet with the Transition Team?        
All students are welcome! Our programs are best for students with a 211 or higher CASAS score or a 3 or higher TABE score. To learn more about Daley Adult Education, click here:   
  
What can the Transition Team help with?           
  1. ​Explore our GATEWAY program, which can help Adult Education students transition to credit courses by offering financial support.   
  2. Enroll in our tuition-free Early Childhood Education Bridge through which qualified students can earn a free Basic Certificate in Early Childhood Education. 
  3. Enroll in our tuition-free Manufacture Bridge, through which qualified students can earn a free Basic Certificate in Manufacturing.
  4. HSE Testing Vouchers. Link to request vouchers. Students can request two at a time.

John Hennessy is the Transition Specialist that works with students at Daley College and Arturo Velazquez Institute. His email address is jhennessy3@ccc.edu   
John Hennessy’s schedule:    
  • Monday (Daley College) from 10:00am to 6:00pm
  • Tuesday (AVI) from 12:00pm to 8:00pm
  • Wednesdays (Daley College) from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Thursday (AVI) from 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Friday (AVI) from 9:00am to 2:00pm​
