Time Management

How we manage our time is crucial to our stress management.  A Wellness Center intern counselor can assist you in examining your daily life and how your plan your activities. Together you can create a time grid which can reveal parts of your schedule that might be rearranged in helpful ways.  You can also ask your intern counselor to help you schedule the full semester on a planning calendar in order to identify particular days and weeks crowded with due assignments.  In seeing this visually, plans can be made for getting started on assignments well ahead of time in order to cope when challenges pile up.

Muscle Relaxation and Mindfulness Training

Relaxation and mindfulness techniques can be very helpful for letting go of stress.  Watch for Wellness Center presentations on these topics.  Also, you can meet one-on-one with an intern counselor to learn these techniques.
