Personal Counseling

  • Offers a safe place to talk about what’s on your mind and receive feedback
  • Provides the opportunity to resolve personal issues
  • Can help you overcome depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance abuse
  • Identifies your strengths and ways to use them to your best advantage
  • Develops skills for better classroom performance, including strategies for time and stress management
  • Offered on a one-on-one basis or through membership in a support group

Most students and staff who come to the Wellness Center attend one to five, weekly, 50-minute meetings.  Some will see their counselor on a longer-term basis. CCC employees with health insurance can obtain assistance to connect with a provider in their insurance network.
