Our newly constructed facility houses "state of the art" HVAC equipment, Johnson Controls, and an HVAC Laboratory, providing our students with the very best training and instruction aligned with industry standards.
The A.A.S. in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration focuses on the design, selection, maintenance, testing, and installation of residential and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and ventilation systems, as well as business skills. The degree can lead to self-employment or employment as an assistant to engineers in an industrial or business facility, air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic, furnace installer, oil burner mechanic or gas furnace mechanic with cooling and heating dealers, contractors, or utility companies. Advanced and Basic Certificates are also available under this concentration.
