Center for Working Families (CWF)

CWF is a career and personal financial service center located on the campus of Kennedy-King College. CWF provides job placement and readiness services to KKC students & surrounding communities. The Family Net Center provides computer training and access.
The CWF specializes in taking a holistic approach to people’s employment and financial needs, linking job placement and career improvement with financial education, plus maximizing public benefits. Base on a concept first conceived by the Casey Foundation, CWF helps families and individuals become more financially secure in thriee critical areas: employment and/or increase wages; improved financial condition; and improved access to public benefits.
The CWF provides job services and long-term case management (if needed); one-on-one financial and money management counseling; customized banking products; free tax preparation services; and state-of-the-art screening for public benefits. All services are free.
