 Reaffirmation of HLC Accreditation Timeline          
 
January 2020       
  • January 28, 2020, HLC’s Institutional Actions Council IAC reviewed Kennedy-King’s Assurance Argument and the HLC’s team report.  The IAC accepted the team report, confirming Kennedy-King College met all five HLC criteria.  The IAC also issued an Action with Interim Monitoring, requiring an Interim Report addressing enrollment and financial progress by February 1,2022.

  • KKC’s first ever Equity Plan was finalized and published
December 2020   
February 2022       
  • February 1, 2022, Kennedy-King College will complete and submit an Interim Report to HLC addressing strategies and progress of College’s Strategic Enrollment Management Plan.

September 2023             

  • Steering Committee finalizes criterion team rosters

October 2023                  

  • President Webb Walker charged steering committee and criterion teams
  • Kick-off on October 19-20 during ATD coaches visit and all-campus meeting

October 2023 – April 2024                        

  •  Criterion teams gather evidence

March – April 2024        

  • Steering Committee reviews evidence files and provides feedback

May 31, 2024                  

  • Criterion teams produce first rough draft of assurance argument

  •  Steering Committee provides feedback on drafts

  • College ALO check-in with Provost

  •   Comprehensive update to campus during FDW
  •  Criterion teams finalize first draft of Assurance Argument
