Accreditation and Compliance Office
The Office of Accreditation and Compliance (OAC) serves as a resource on regional and specialized regulatory and accreditation matters for all Malcolm X College (MXC) academic programs.
As a provider of quality, affordable education, MXC’s Health Sciences, Nursing and Career Programs are training the professionals of tomorrow. Under the leadership and direction of the college President, the OAC supports academic and career program faculty and staff, as well as MXC’s Senior Leadership Team.
Compliance is an everyday business that affects everything we do. At the heart of our mission, are our students, who deserve the best, which includes their ability to choose from a selection of quality and accredited educational programs as they prepare to transition from academia to successful, rewarding careers.
At MXC, and as exemplified by the College leadership, program directors, faculty, and staff, we lead by example and believe in efficiency, transparency, and a system of review that ensures our students will be able to receive instruction from a curriculum that meets both regulatory and industry standards.
In continuance of our work, the OAC website contains information about the accreditation status of all Health Sciences and Career Programs at MXC and regional accreditation information.
We also are proud to work with our external employer partners who provide support and guidance concerning the development of relevant and measurable learning outcomes for our students. It is in this spirit of collaboration and excellence that the OAC works to ensure MXC’s students are enrolled in, and graduate from, respected accredited programs.
I hope you will find the website informative and useful, as we work together to continue the reputation of excellence known of MXC’s Health Sciences, Nursing, and academic programs.
