Dental Hygiene Program Schedule

Dental Hygiene is a full- time program. The curriculum is two full calendar years (6 semesters), beginning in the summer term. Didactic, laboratory and clinic courses are scheduled Monday – Friday including some evening hours.  

First Semester – Summer  
Dental Hygiene 112 – Introduction to Dental Hygiene 1 credit hour
Dental Hygiene 135 – Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office 1 credit hour
Chemistry 121 – Basic Chemistry 1 4 credit hours

Second Semester – Fall  
Dental Hygiene 119 – Introduction to Dental Radiology 1.5 credit hours
