G.U.I.D.E. Mentoring Program

The G.U.I.D.E. Mentoring Program pairs students with faculty and staff in meaningful one-on-one relationships for academic and moral support.
The purpose of the G.U.I.D.E. program is to provide culturally and geographically relevant mentorship and civic engagement opportunities to formally enrolled students, particularly those on developmental-to-credit tracks and those self-identified as General Studies/”undecided” majors.

G.U.I.D.E. students have the opportunity to build professional development, leadership and life skills.  In addition, program benefits include…

  • Eligibility for the G.U.I.D.E. Scholarship sponsored by the United Center
  • Teambuilding and community service activities that look great on a resume
  • Career advice and networking from faculty and professionals in relevant fields
  • Finding a place to belong in the MXC family
