Communication Guidelines

Currently enrolled students and those enrolled in the past two years  

If you are a current student, or have attended City Colleges in the past two years, you will receive emails to your CCC student email address. If you are still receiving emails to your personal email address, you may need to remove the forwarding function from your student email.    

You can choose to unsubscribe to the following:   

  • Non-emergency automated calls from City Colleges
  • Non-emergency text messages from City Colleges

You will continue to receive the following:    

  • Any emergency notifications from City Colleges
  • Messages generated automatically from My.CCC.edu, which are based on specific transactions directly related to a student’s finances or classes.
  • Emails sent to current students at your student email account

Prospective students   

If you have expressed interest in attending City Colleges through an online form, a CCC recruiter, or our admissions team and have not yet applied, you may have already been subscribed to receive information via text, automated phone call, and email by providing a phone number and/or email address.   

You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time, but you may miss out on information about registration, the application process, or upcoming events for prospective students. To receive all the information you need to know about becoming a CCC student, we recommend that you remain signed up for these messages.
