TRiO’s mission is to provide support services to its students and ensure a smooth transition to four-year institutions.

TRiO – Student Support Services is a program committed to providing a supportive environment to improve academic performance, increase retention and assist with graduation and successful transfer to a 4-year institution to low-income, first generation students and students with a documented disability. TRiO provides comprehensive individualized services around academic support, mentoring, financial guidance, career and professional development. TRIO students have exclusive access to:

  • Individualized academic and transfer advising
  • One on one tutoring
  • Academic coaching
  • Workshops and team building activities
  • Assistance with scholarships and financial aid
  • Extensive loaner library
