Equity at Wright

In Fall 2015, Wright College was awarded a grant from Association of American Colleges & University (AAC&U) to create and implement an Equity Action Plan, with intent to decrease the equity gap among Hispanic and Black students.

Wright College culminates this project on September 15th,
2017 with the Chicagoland HSI Symposium: Committing to Equity and Inclusive
Excellence.  The purpose of this
event is to promote Wright College’s identity as a Hispanic Serving Institution
(HIS), elevate and support best practices of equity-focused initiatives, and create
a network of 2-year and 4-year HSIs in the Chicagoland region.  The event is free of charge with limited
