Honors Program Benefits

Membership in the Wright College
Honors Program provides many
benefits:

Get smarter: The Honors Program helps students prepare to
transfer to 4-year colleges and universities. Smaller classes and dedicated
professors mean interactive, cooperative learning as well as exciting
opportunities to explore and create. Some professors even offer special research
projects.

Connect with others:  We are creating a
community that is highly interested in learning. The Honors Program offers mentoring
by faculty, networking opportunities, and personalized academic advising. This
means that you will have the support of your peers, faculty, advisors, and staff.

Learn outside of your books: Faculty
and staff in the Honors Program are planning activities and events just for
you. You will have access to academic and
professional development workshops, transfer and scholarship workshops,
leadership activities, and special events.

Look good on paper: When
you successfully complete four Honors courses in
the Honors Program or two Honors courses and two Honors projects, you will earn an
Honors Certificate. Finally, highlighting your Honors status can boost the quality of your résumé or transfer application.
