American Chemical Society Although we do not always realize it, chemicals are all around us everyday. Do you have an interest in chemistry? Would you like to learn more? The American Chemical Society may be perfect for you!

The American Chemical Society provides an opportunity for students of the chemical sciences to become better acquainted, to secure the intellectual stimulation that arises from professional association, to gain experience in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, to foster a professional spirit among the members, to instill a professional pride in the chemical sciences, and to explore the challenges of the modern chemist.

Officer Requirements

Officers must be in good standing, enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours, and must maintain a minimum cumulative 2.3 GPA each semester the student is an officer.

Member Requirements

Along with a passion for all things chemical, members must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours each semester with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Membership is open to all Wright students.
