Apply to Wright’s Honors Program

 

Prerequisites

​To join the Honors Program, students must meet or surpass three of the following four eligibility criteria:    

New Students: 1) Grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or above in High School courses, 2) composite ACT score of 25 or above or a composite SAT score of 1200 or above, 3) personal statement, 4) interview with Honors faculty. A letter of recommendation may be required. Please refer to the directions in the new student application.     

Current or Returning Students: 1) Grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or above in college-level courses in your most recent academic semester, 2) composite ACT score of 25 or above or a composite SAT score of 1200 or above, 3) personal statement, 4) interview with Honors faculty.     

Members of Wright College’s Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society automatically qualify for Honors courses and do not need to complete the Honors application. 

Cost

There is no fee to apply to Wright’s Honors Program.  

Timing

​The application will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. To best allocate your time, gather your academic transcripts before you start the application. Also, we recommend you review the personal statement prompts and draft a response to the personal statement before you fill in the rest of your application.
