New Student Orientation at Wright

The new student orientation process is as easy as 1, 2, 3. All three steps are required for new degree-seeking students. They provide an introduction to the Wright College and its academic programs, policies, and student support services.

Once students have completed the admissions process, they can begin their orientation. The three-step process begins online and ends at registration with an advisor. All new degree-seeking students are required to complete the process.

1. Complete the Online Pre-Orientation Modules in Brightspace

Students complete the Pre-Orientation Modules individually in our course management system, Brightspace. The modules walk students through key steps in the application process, better preparing them to become students.

If you have applied to Wright as a new student, you are automatically enrolled in the modules and can access the Pre-Orientation Modules in Brightspace.

2. Attend a Virtual Orientation Session

Following completion of the online work, students will sign up for an orientation hosted by college advisors. Students will learn important information about programs, policies, and services offered at Wright College, taking students right up to the point of registration.

You will use Navigate, our online service scheduling app, to schedule your Virtual Orientation Session.

3. Register with a College Advisor

Once you are ready to register, you should meet with an advisor. Students can drop in to our virtual advising Zoom room, available through our Virtual student services page. We are open Monday-Wednesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-6pm, and Friday 9am-1pm excluding holidays.

If you have completed the online modules and the virtual orientation, then you can directly access our advisor through the Advising and Transfer Zoom room.

We are available through our Wright College Virtual Student Services page should you need any assistance in the new student process. This includes the Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, and Advising and Transfer Offices. Reach out and connect with us if you have any questions or issues.

Note: if you need special accommodations for the New Student Orientation, please contact the Disability Access Center (DAC) at Wright. You may schedule an appointment for an intake session by calling (773) 481-8015.
