Adult Education is a comprehensive program of free classes for adult students who need to learn English or improve their basic literacy skills, obtain a GED® certificate, or prepare for the Citizenship exam.
Alternative High School (16 to 21 years old)
Did you drop out of high school? Are you 16 to under 21 years of age? You can earn a high school diploma at the City Colleges of Chicago! Apply at Olive-Harvey Middle College, Truman Middle College, or one of the alternative high schools listed below.

Assessment at Richard J. Daley College
Assessment and evaluation are inevitably related. Assessment provides information about student learning, and evaluation provides judgment on effectiveness.
Oversees the day-to-day operations related to Campus Building Management and Operations in an effort to provide an efficient, safe and well-maintained environment for students, faculty, staff and the general public.
Business Services is responsible for protecting the assets of the college by ensuring policies and procedures are adhered while maintaining the financial integrity of the college.
Career Planning & Placement Center
Richard J. Daley Career Planning & Placement provides comprehensive services to help you make informed decisions about careers. We also help you successfully transition into the workforce. Call or email to make an appointment.
Child Development Laboratory School
City Colleges of Chicago operates Child Development Laboratory Schools at five of the colleges, allowing students to take classes knowing their children are well cared for.
Continuing Education non-credit courses are available for students seeking occupational skills or personal enrichment.
The Facilities Management department handles requests for facility usage and room reservations.
Daley supports the District Office of Human Resources’ mission to attract, recruit, develop and retain the most highly qualified and diverse workforce that will support and deliver on the City Colleges of Chicago’s Strategic initiatives.
International Student Services
International Student Advisors at Daley College support all of the educational needs and immigration requirements of international students.
Janitorial Services provides general cleaning of the interior and exterior of the buildings.
Online Learning courses offer a method for students to complete college course work through online education.
Plant Maintenance maintains, replaces and repairs the campus buildings, grounds and utility systems.
The Office of the Registrar administers the enrollment of students, maintains student records, and works with faculty, administration and staff on academic matters.
S.O.L. de Daley was established to promote the development of educational, professional and career opportunities among Daley Latinos. The council addresses issues of general concern to Latinos at Daley College.
Campus Safety and Security is available 24 hours a day to ensure a safe and secure environment for all City College students, staff members, and visitors.
The Student Development Department provides a broad range of services to assist students in achieving their academic and life goals.
Student Government Association
The Student Government Association represents all students and serves as a liaison between the student body and college administration and the Board of Trustees.

The mission of the Honors College at RJD College is to provide high quality educational opportunities for academically talented and motivated students through specialized instruction, leadership training, social & cultural events and civic engagement.
The Thomas J. Kelly Memorial Library at Daley College
