In alignment with the Illinois Community College Board’s FY21 Adult Education and Literacy Provider Manual guidance – CCC appreciates the opportunity to utilize the temporary waiver regarding NRS assessment for Fall 2020, given the scale of the program and current safety guidelines in place at the campuses due to COVID-19. ICCB’s Fall 2020 waiver allowed the program to welcome new students for the Fall term start with the expectation that “pre and post assessments with an NRS approved assessment must be given as soon as reasonably possible”.
