Retirement Savings Plans

City Colleges of Chicago offers voluntary 403(b) and 457(b) retirement savings plans​ which are valuable tax-advantaged retirement savings plans.  For more information on 403(b) and 457(b) savings plans offered through City Colleges, visit the 403(b) and 457(b) Retirement Savings Plans​ page.   

City Colleges employees are required to participate in the State University Retirement System (SURS) in lieu of contributing to Social Security.  Within six months of hire, new members of SURS must choose from 3 retirement plans.  For additional information, visit CCC’s SURS page.
