The Automotive Technology program provides the necessary foundation and practical experience to pursue entry-level positions that meet the changing demands of the automotive industry.
Oversees the day-to-day operations related to Campus Building Management and Operations in an effort to provide an efficient, safe and well-maintained environment for students, faculty, staff and the general public.

The mission of the Business & Professional Studies Department is to provide excellent instruction for all its students, inspire them to think critically, encourage their professionalism and help them to secure opportunities in their chosen discipline.

Career Programs & Continuing Education
The Career Programs and Continuing Education (CPCE) forges partnerships between City Colleges and industry leaders to better align City Colleges’ curricula with the demand in growing fields.
Child Development Laboratory Schools
The City Colleges of Chicago operates Child Development Laboratory Schools at five of the colleges, allowing students to take classes knowing their children are well cared for.
The mission of the Child Development Program is to develop dedicated, knowledgeable, self-reflective and culturally sensitive Early Childhood professionals who have the skills and motivation to serve children and families of our communities.
The Communication Department seeks to hone our students’ abilities to explore and use Standard American English (SAE) effectively and to actively read and analyze literature.
We are excited and humbled to serve Chicago’s southside from Hegewisch to South Shore, Chatham, Pullman, Roseland, and the Far Southwest Side, with Continuing Education that provides skills & knowledge for career & personal growth, and have a good time.

Library (Olga Haley Library-Learning Resource Center)
In December 1975, Olive-Harvey College Library was dedicated to Olga Haley a beloved instructor/administrator. The mission is to support all educational programs and provide academic services for students of various levels of preparation and ability.
The Math Emporium is a state-of-the-art computer learning center designed to help students learn math by interacting with a team of instructors, embedded tutors, and an interactive math software.
Mathematics & Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department
The Mathematics and Computer Information Systems (CIS) programs are designed to give students an opportunity to develop a mathematical foundation as a tool for understanding the world and society in which they live.
The mission of the Natural Sciences Department is to help students develop the mindset and skills to investigate the natural world and apply this knowledge to solving everyday problems.
The President of the College is the chief executive, administrative, and education officer and derives authority from, and is responsible to the Chancellor of the City Colleges of Chicago and the Board of Trustees.
The Vice President is responsible for the administration of academic programs (General Education, Foundational Studies, Continuing Education, and Adult Education) and the coordination of these with other college functions.
Plant Maintenance provides support services for the purpose of maintaining a well functioning and safe facility.

The Social Science and Africana Studies Department mission is to enhance knowledge, understanding, skills, collaboration, community service and life-long learning.
Olive-Harvey College South Chicago Learning Center prepares students for both higher education and employment by offering vocational and technical training as well as adult education courses.
STEM Center for Teaching and Learning
The STEM CTL is committed to supporting OHC faculty and staff by providing professional development activities using the most up-to-date technology, best practices, and assessments, to improve teaching and increase student achievement.
Student Government Association
The Student Government Association represents all students and serves as a liaison between the student body and college administration and the Board of Trustees.
